ViewSonic is present at Russian market for 5 years. Currently the company is shipping more than 20 models of CRT monitors and 10 models of LCD monitors to the local market. Despite the fact that some vendors have discontinued not only 14" but even 15" models, ViewSonic has no plans to stop their production. Principal stress, however, is laid upon 17" models which become the most popular now.

Shipments of ViewSonic monitors have been increasing steadily during these 5 years. In the past eleven months, January 1, 1999, to December 1, 1999, their shipments reached 302,100 units (as compared to approximately 255,000 units in 1998). Out of this amount, there were 49,500 14" monitors, 206,500 15" monitors, 40,300 17" monitors, 4620 19" and 21" monitors, and 1078 LCD monitors.
