MTU Inform group of companies and Moscow Committee of Education have completed the next stage of the joint program aimed at providing free Internet access for Moscow educational institutions. Since the start of the program in October 1998, 700 schools and colleges in Moscow have gone online. The program provides information support for educational institutions in Moscow city. During the year, it involved numerous undergraduate schools, colleges, technical schools, training and production centers, youth creativity facilities, rehabilitation centers for disabled children. Pedagogic Liceum No.1 became the 700th institution to be engaged in the program. MTU Inform group includes several companies, both telco operators, CDMA cellular operators, networking and Internet service providers. Source: InfoArt News Agency
