Russian company Classica, a turnkey telecommuncations VAR, has signed an agreement with Sonera, an international telco operator. The company is a specialist in design and deployment of private and public networks and systems. Sonera's efforts are concentrated in data transmission, multimedia services, Internet and mobile communications.

According to terms of the agreement, Classica will offer its customers a set of Sonera solutions for private networking based on leased line communications, namely Sonera FastNet and Sonera DataNet services. It will also deploy its own telecommunication projects using Sonera backbone network. The backbone has points of presence in 10 European countries, including Belgium, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Great Britain, Netherlands, Norway, Russia, and Sweden.
