Russian company ACT Group announced start of regular operation of the new Internet shop www.buy.ru for corporate customers. New version of the shop is based on Microsoft technologies and offers its customers a vast range of hardware and software products from Compaq, Microsoft, Symantec and Network Associates, with more vendors to be added in the future.

According to ACT Group officials, the key difference between www.buy.ru and the other similar enterprises operating today in Russian Internet space is its distinct orientation towards corporate customers. The shop is focused on brand name products, payments are done by wire transfers, all products shipped by the enterprise are supported by certified technicians from ACT Group technical center. Special module for calculation of prices for software licenses drastically simplifies wholesale purchases of Microsoft, Symantec, Network Associates products.

"While building the Internet shop, we put forward the goal to provide the entire suite of services which had been typically delivered by our company to corporate customers", says Serge Savinov, sales and marketing director of ACT Group. "Entering the Internet allows us to implement the features which have not been available previously, including round-the-clock access to up-to-the-minute price lists, automatic data delivery, access to trial versions."
