Microsoft corporation announced a series of seminars for professional developers in Russia and Ukraine. The seminars are held within the framework of Microsoft DevDays'99 conference. At the territories of CIS countries, Microsoft DevDays'99 events will take place in four Russians and Ukrainian cities on October 15 to 22, 1999: St.-Petersburg on October 15, Moscow on October 18, Kazan on October 20, and Kiev on October 22.

Microsoft DevDays is an annual worldwide conference held by Microsoft. This year it will take place in more than 70 countries. Its goal is to supply software developers in all areas with the most up-to-the-date and helpful information about Microsoft development tools and technologies. The present conference is held for the sixth time, with its debut in Russia and Kazakhstan in 1998. Last year, version 6.0 of Microsoft Visual Studio integrated developer's suite was presented in action. This year, the conference is devoted to Windows 2000 family of operating systems, which will be released in the near future.
