IT InfoArt Stars webserver (www.infoart.ru), the leading Russian Web content provider, has celebrated a significant milestone: 40,000,000 visitors since the beginning of its operation.

The site InfoArt is operating since Netcom '95 show in late September 1995. It took the site more than half a year to meet its first 100,000 visitors, up to June 1996. The 500,000 mark was reached by the first anniversary of the server, yet the next half a million was done in less than five months. The counter passed 1,000,000 in April 1997, and the 4,000,000-th visitor was recorded eighteen months ago, on March 26, 1998.
