As announced by Hewlett-Packard, total sales of its personal systems in Russia in the third fiscal quarter (May to July) of 1999 have exceeded the results of the corresponding period of 1998 by 27%.

The company believes that this increase results from development of corporate sales and from efforts of its business partners. In terms of PC sales in Q3, 1999, Lanit company was at the top of the list of its local distributors, with CHS being the second and RSI being the third. These companies are characterized by dynamic growth of sales of HP products, which reaches 300% in year-to-year comparison.
