Ericsson announced signing an agreement with Ukrainian telecommunication operator Ukrtelecom. Within the frame of the contract, which totals US$ 30 mln., Ericsson will ship equipment for building an SDH network in east and south regions of Ukraine. The major portion of the network will also use Ericsson optical cabling. The first stage of the system should be deployed by this autumn.
