MediaLingua and Microsoft companies announced a new software product, the search module for SQL Server 7.0. The product, named Pathfinder for Microsoft SQL Server 7.0, allows to make requests in natural Russian language. It is aimed at corporate users who apply the SQL Server 7.0 database control system to arrange their own information systems. The developers say it to be able to perform search in both Russian and English.

On top of that, MediaLingua has also announced that the Russian equivalent of the English Query function is currently under development. The existing function of Microsoft SQL Server 7.0 provides conversion of search requests in natural English language into SQL requests. Further plans call for adding corresponding modules for the major European languages.
