Computer Mechanics, a value-added reseller, announce completion of installation of Ericsson Businessphone-250 telecommunications system in the head office of Cosmos-TV company in Russia. According to Computer Mechanics specialists, the Businessphone-250 PBX turned out to be especially attractive for medium-to-large enterprises, with a large number of subscribers needing mobility within a limited area, yet application of the expensive cellular phone network being not cost-effective. Installation of the system included a few stages: The company says full integration of automatic call distribution functions into a PBX to be one of the major advantages of Businessphone CallCentre. It means that businesses have to do a single investment to provide both processing of their customers' calls and routine intra-company phone communication, thus saving their money.
- replacement of the existing PBX, with the existing subscriber numbering scheme being retained;
- adding new subscribers and services;
- putting the computer call center into operation. The center runs the Call Center Supervisor software, which provides up-to-the-minute statistics of the call center operation and real-time control of the operators.
At the final stage of installation, a DECT-compliant microcellular wireless communication system was built. As a result, the company has been provided with a private microcellular phone network for its employees. Source: InfoArt News Agency
