Cisco Systems announced kick-off a Russian section on its Cisco Connection Online (CCO) Web-server. The site, referred to as http://wwwcisco.ru, is aimed at supporting the dynamically expanding market of global networking in Russia.

Cisco's hardware and software products link together computers and networks worldwide and allows users to obtain and transmit necessary data around the clock, regardless of their location, type of their computer systems and networking technologies. Cisco provides networking solutions of all levels for building a unified networking infrastructure.

With growing activity of Russian networking community taken into account, Cisco has made a decision to create a separate section in Russian on its website. The section will include more than 400 pages. Principal attention in Russian section will be paid to technical and marketing information about both the products of the company, education and certification programs and service programs. Separate mailing lists are being arranged for providing timely information about the news of the server and the entire company.

Robert Agie, the director general of Cisco Systems Russia, underscored that the appearance of Russian section on CCO illustrates successful promotion of Cisco's technologies to Russian networking market. Information in Russian will help local specialists and company's business partners to get a better insight of the solutions, offered by the worldwide networking leader for the Russian market. They will also get answers to their questions and obtain technical support while saving their time and efforts, and, consequently, their money.
