Russian distribution company OCS announced its plans to celebrate its fifth anniversary at the local computer market with an online auction. The event will took place on April 26, 27, and 28 at the corporate Web site, and may be attended by any Internet user. The lots to be auctioned include 3Com, APC, Cisco, Compaq, Hewlett Packard, OKI, and Aquarius products. On each of the days, 2 or 3 lots will be offered with a starting price equivalent to US$ 10.00. Then any participant can indicate its own price on-line. The sales will go on for about an hour and a half; in 5 minutes before ending the auction, a warming message will appear. Winners of each lot will be announced immediately after completion of the auction.
