The COMTEK '99 international show will take place in Moscow on April 19 to 23, 1999. The annual event dedicated to information technologies and telecommunications will be held for the tenth time. This is the major computer show held in Russia. Participants of COMTEK '99 will present the latest solutions in software, hardware, office equipment, computer components, networking, banking and office solutions. The show will also include a few specialized sections concentrated at certain issues: Publishing Expo for desktop publishing solutions; ExpoCad & Graphics for computer-aided design systems and geographical information systems; Openet for Internet/Intranet, networking and telecommunications.

This year, about 500 companies from more than 30 countries will take part in the show. The conference program of COMTEK will consist of more than 100 seminars and discussions, embracing all aspects of information technologies and telecommunications.

COMTEK is a show aimed basically at computer professionals. Every year it is attended by numerous distributors, dealers, value-added resellers, suppliers and customers, IT managers from governmental institutions, businesses and banks, managers and techical experts from all regions of Russia, CIS and Baltic countries.

The show will also be visited by Russian officials, including members of federal and Moscow governments, President administration, deputies of Russian parliament. Media will be represented by more than 200 computer and general newspapers and magazines from both Moscow and regions.
