Russian company JIB Group announced partnership with PLUS UPS Systems from Taiwan and a special marketing program to promote its new PLUS UPS solutions in Russia. PLUS Electronics company is manufacturing uninterruptable power systems since 1997 and is selling them under its own trademark PLUS UPS Systems. During its reorganization in 1998, the UPS division of the company became an autonomous company under the same name. Today PLUS UPS Systems intends to press more expensive brands, like APC, Exide, and TrippLite, at the Russian market. PLUS UPS family of products includes a broad variety of UPS systems, ranging from home and SOHO units to models for large corporate networks. The company officials say that their performance is somewhat higher than that of APC products, while prices of PLUS UPS are far lower, especially for high-end models. The exclusive distributing agreement with JIB Group includes building a reseller network in Russia, service and support, as well as arranging a marketing campaign to promote PLUS UPS products at the Russian market.
