R-Style Computers company, one of the oldest Russian vendors, announced price reductions on its newest Pentium III-based models. The recommended price of the base configuration (Pentium-III 450MHz / RAM 32 MB / HDD 3.2 GB / AGP video card 4 MB) of these machines is now set equivalent to US$ 995. Their price in R-Style own retail shops will equal US$ 969.

The new R-Style Proxima MC family of computers is based on Pentium-III 450/500 MHz processors. Company's officials say them to be oriented towards resource-hungry applications, like Adobe Photoshop, QuarkXpress, CorellDraw, 3Dstudio, etc. Home users, in their turn, will enjoy high performance of these computers while running graphic and multimedia applications.
