Another Internet payment system has been activated in Russia. The solution, named ASSIST (http://wwwassist.ru), is aimed at performing credit card operations via the Web and is integrated with back office of CyberPlat (http://wwwcyberplat.ru) payment system. Authorization of transactions is done on-line. ASSIST is the joint product of Platina bank, Reksoft company from St.-Petersburg and Inist company from Moscow.

Internet shops, connected to the system, can accept payments by VISA, EuroCard/MasterCard, JCB, Diners Club and American Express cards, emitted by any Russian or foreign banks. Neither registration of their owners in the system nor installation of specialized software is required.
