Press office of Russia Defence Ministry said, nuclear force control systems in Russia have sufficiently high level of reliability. Defence Ministry's spokesman also said, that Y2K solution is the top-priority task for staff of missile control systems, information and communication centres of Russian Army. Defence Ministry have got the direction from Russia Government to speed the work on solution of Y2K problem.

Press office of Russia Defence Ministry also accented, that Ministry executives defined so called "overcare areas" - nuclear-missile force, the most important systems of control and providing of Russia armed forces. Up to date "fatal inadvertences" was not found in nuclear weapon holding systems.
